How to create or modify a request
If you are looking for a certain addon but can't find on Flightsim.to, you can make a request for it and maybe other people will create it! To make a request, you can follow these steps:
- Login or sign up for an account
- Choose an appropriate category for your request, you can make a livery request or a scenery request
- Create a new request by pressing the "+ New Request" button at the top
- At the top, you can choose the category for your request
- Give your request a short but descriptive title
- Provide any additional information for the request such as source of images for liveries or maps for scenery
- Upload any images that show the livery or scenery you are looking for, make sure these images are clear
- Once you have read the notice at the bottom and your request follows these points, you can submit your request with the "Publish Request" button
Once your request is published, other people will be able to follow your request and view the progress or decide they are going to make the request and assign themselves to the request. Once the request is completed, the creator will be rewarded and any followers will be notified. Congratulations, you have just published your first request on Flightsim.to!
How to manage, delete or modify my request
Once launched, you can modify title, description and category of your request.
- Open your requests page. You can find all your followed or created requests by navigating to "My Requests" at the top of Scenery or Livery Requests.
- A pop-up for your request will appear, you can delete it by clicking the "Delete" button at the bottom of the pop-up.
- You can not delete your request if it has already too many followers.
Additional Notes
- Requests are only for Liveries or Sceneries. You can not post requests for aircraft, tools or utilities.
- In 50% of the cases, the add-on you are requesting has already been done or requests by someone else. Use our Discover page to search through already launched files, maybe you don't even have to post a request!
- Before you post a request, search through the requests. Maybe someone else has already posted the same requests. We will delete all duplicate requests!
- Please note that there is - unfortunately - no guarantee that someone will actually take care of your request.
