Replacement for the old dirt strip of Namibe, Angola (which is amids the houses of this coastal town and long closed) with the new FNMO "Welwitschia mirabilis" (named after a famous plant growing in the Namib desert) airport having a 8200 ft asphalt runway, approach, runway and taxiway lighting. The new airport was constructed a military base during the Angolan civil war, and was made fit for touristic purposes. It is situated in the semidesert some 3 miles S of the old one, and serves domestic flights. The VOR VMO (114.1 MHz) and DME MO (358 kHz) serves as radio aid for semi precision approaches.
Caution: As the ICAO remains the same, and there is no way to change the location of the airport symbol in MSFS (may be a bug?), the symbol on the ingame world map as well as in the GPS will still be shown at the old, wrong place. However, the runway will be shown at the correct place in the GPS, and also in the detail view of the world map. So, when selecting "zoom to details" the airport seemingly disappears, but you see the actual runway and the parking spots!
