This is currently a 'quick and dirty' scenery enhancement for the Abilene Regional Airport (KABI) which by default is completely devoid of all aircraft hangars thanks to the utter failure of Asobo's Blackshark A.I. alogorithm. All of KABI's hangars are now where they should be and are represented at approximate real-world dimensions and shapes. Currently, everything is from stock Asobo library buildings and therefore generic in form, but future versions of this scenery will include photo-real objects. I am still getting a grasp on the proper software tools to accomplish photo-real object placement from that of Google Earth, but I promise it's coming soon. This little scenery package is still nevertheless light years ahead of Asobo's default representation of the airport. :)
Additionally, I have fixed a few glaring issues in the city of Abilene itself, including removing the default giant white blocks from the middle of Shotwell and ACU Wildcat stadiums. I've also placed water towers at their correct locations in various areas. I resized the Enterprise Building downtown so it's no longer a giant square block and it now looks much more pleasing, albeit still generic in form at this time.
UPDATE 2.0
----------------------
Abilene Regional (KABI) now has the following enhancements in version 2.0:
Runway 17R-35L redone with precision instrument markings (as per real-lfe).
Runway 17R-35L now both have PAPI (4 box) visual glideslope indicators (per real-life).
Taxiway lights removed from all ramps (tired of running over them to park aren't you).
Ramp lighting added throughout the airport (yay).
All parking spots removed from west side airport ramp to keep stupid default A.I. aircraft from constantly parking everywhere the wrong way.
Terminal Parking lot and front fascade of the terminal are now rendered in 3D photogrammetry (looks so much better than default).
Windsocks are all lighted at night
Abilene Aero main hanger muchly redone, along with accurate car parking at the FBO parking lots.
Abilene Tower improved over default.
Rotating beacon added in the proper place.
Minor fixes to various hangars.
UPDATE 3.0
------------------------------
Everything is now fully compatible with Asobo's new 'City Update 3: Texas', which is available as a free download in the online Marketplace. With Asobo's City Update 3, the town of Abilene is now completely rendered in 3D photogrammetry, along with what appears to be custom-rendered water towers, bridges, and overpasses. Impressive! Available free! Asobo has updated the Abilene Airport hangars via their A.I. rendering alogorithm with City Update 3, but it looks horrible with everything way out of scale, along with both the main terminal and control tower completely missing. I guess they had to rob Peter to pay Paul? Abilene Airport Update 3.0 automatically excludes all of Asobo's A.I. buildings, thankfully.
Various minor hangar updates with a new (included) object library.
All Envoy Air hangars on the east side of the airport are now rendered in 3D photogrammetry because it looks much cooler.
There is a fully animated radar transmitter at the proper location south of the airport along Highway 36. I don't know about you, but I personally can spend hours watching that little antenna rotate around. I mean, instead of wasting time flying, right?
The Abilene ATEMS High School on the west side of the airport was apparently under construction with the data Asobo used for the Texas Cities Update and it unfortunately looks weird rendered in 3D photogrammetry. Therefore, I excluded it and replaced with a default library object building. Reasonable facsimile.
****Installation of Update 3.0****
Please uninstall any previous version of my Abilene Airport Scenery first. If you have Update 2.0 installed, there should be a single directory 'ot-scene-kabiparking' in your MSFS2020 Community Folder. Just delete that sucker.
The 3.0 update has five individual directories inside the ZIP file to copy into your MSFS2020 Community Folder:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
library2v14-cbj
modelLib2v14-cbj
ot-scene-kabiparking
ot-scene-kabi-envoyhangars
ot-scene-eaa-hangar
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sure looks like someone hasn't grasped how to merge scenery projects in MSFS2020 yet. (I'm working on it). :(

Looks really good. 1000% improvement! Only a couple things I noticed off, the jetway parking is still a bit off. Another is the self-service fuel is in the wrong location. On the GA ramp it's on the end of the first (south) east-west GA hangars. So nice to have an FOB!

Nice Work. Glad to see creators updating the flattened landscapes of some of the smaller commercial airports out there. Sometimes a simple modification of an airport is all that's needed to make it look good.

As someone who attended ACU in Abilene, thank you for this. I fly out of here frequently for old College sake.

Go Wildcats! You're very welcome. Update will be out in a few days that adds ramp lighting at night, along with a more refined Abilene Aero main hanger and covered parking lot at the main terminal. Also, I'm uploading the city of Abilene in 3D photogrammetry this weekend. Stay Purple!
