I've created East Haxted Farm Airstrip. One of the largest farm strips in the UK. It has a total of 7 runways! Located on the border between Surrey and Kent next to Edenbridge, a stones throw from Gatwick airport.
I am quite certain that the arrangement here is unique, in the UK certainly and quite probably elsewhere throughout the world. But, why does such an airfield exist? One obvious explanation is that somebody, very enthusiastic about flying and with the means to create such a 'set-up', has devised an arrangement to suit almost any flying conditions.
This really is a unique airfield! Never knew it existed. Thanks for the lovely work.
