In the early 1990s, the United States Postal Service introduced a new logo scheme for all of its services.  These new colors found their way onto the 727F fleet that was operating under contract for the USPS out of the Eagle Hub in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Postal contract was held by Emery Worldwide, which owned the aircraft.  However, operation of the aircraft was sub-contracted to Ryan International Airlines (17 727-100s) and Express One Airlines (seven 727-200s).  The paint scheme was relatively simple, yet attractive, with an all-white fuselage and a blue vertical stabilizer featuring the white eagle logo.  A thin red pinstripe was located above the cabin windows, with black USPS titles.
