Based on my other Taxi Ribbon mod, but now with animation.
The arrow is replaced by a small sphere that has animation in the direction to move.
Unzip the .zip file to your Community folder.
You can also use a Simvar: “FLY ASSISTANT RIBBONS ACTIVE” to turn the Ribbon and Glidescope element On/Off.

Very subtle, very nice. If it's possible, it would be perfect if the moving orbs was in front of the airplane, instead of under and behind, speccially when taxi at night. But overall; very good work. Thanks!

Hi, I think we need to figure out a way to get rid of the blue and green parking box. I may be wrong, but from what I'm seeing, this mod only replaces the ribbon arrows. It doesn't replace the parking box at the stand so the game will still load them. At the moment, I'll try to splice through the Subtle Taxi Ribbon mod as the official file replacement, with your animated one. But I don't think it'll work as a fully community mod like yours yet until we can find a way to have a parking box replacement fully integrated in your .CGL file.

This works great. Makes it much easier to follow than the small arrows during the daytime. Starting out, they seem to move really fast. But you match speed a bit closer when you get up to taxi speed, so they don't look too bad.
Was thinking that it might be cool to have a few variations. Say green lights instead of blue, or even white. Was also wondering if a pattern of blinking lights to lead you on your way wouldn't be just as effective and look better than moving?
But definitely a good step in the right direction, and miles better than those God awful huge blue arrows that are stock with the sim.

Taxi ribbons start working again when mod is removed.
Also a review for it:
Really like the idea behind this, makes the taxi "holograms" much more immersive as if they are some sort of smart airport lighting system.

Great add-on, much more decent than the ugly big blue arrows from Asobo. Is there a chance, to extend the range of the bulbs? Change of direction can arise quite suddenly when you taxi along with max speed of 30 kts.

Hi, no idea if it works with the small ribbon mod, the animation only replaces the Taxi Ribbon and everything else is original. My other non animated mod has more options in it's code but not enabled. I only changed the Taxi Ribbon there also.
I hope to find more time to make other models for the rest of the package. Hoped others would pic kthis up and make mods.
I made a small fast fix to extend the range of the animated dot though. This will be released soon..
