PLEASE READ: The main version of this bush trip uses the Asobo King Air 350i aircraft. There are additional files available that use the ***NEW Milviz C310R***. They should be compatible with each other, so you can install them all at once if you want. Keep an eye out for a potential future version using the FlySimWare C414A.
Note to C310R users:
When you load into the mission at the start, please ensure that your C310 is not damaged (all health bars green). You should use steam gauges, not the Garmin G5 PFD/HSI. Any GPS is acceptable, but the radio navigation option will not be sufficient to navigate this mission. Also, please select the “Hide Avatars” option unless you’d like your cargo in the back to appear as people. Finally, please do not check or uncheck any of the boxes that change your cargo config. The mission manages this for you automatically, but changing it yourself could cause problems. Thanks, and please enjoy!
Yakutat Mail Run
Objective
As a pilot for a Yakutat, Alaska-based air taxi company you fly all over the North Country, and this afternoon's run sent you across the border to Burwash in Canada's Yukon Territory to pick up some mail and a snow machine engine. Now it's time to head back to Yakutat for the night.
The mission begins on the ramp with the engines running at Burwash Airport (CYDB). Your copilot has filed an IFR flight plan GPS Direct to Yakutat (PAYA), 113 miles to the south. The only thing standing between Burwash and Yakutat is some deteriorating weather—and a whole lot of mountains. But the King Air is a fast twin turboprop, so if all goes well, you should arrive before the storm shuts the airport down.
Navigation
Your flight planned route takes you direct from Burwash Airport (CYDB) to Yakutat Airport (PAYA) at 16,000 feet (you can use 13,000 feet for the C310R version). You can expect the ILS Runway 11 approach into Yakutat. I've included a PDF of the approach plate for your convenience. Yakutat is reporting a 300-foot ceiling with a 20-knot wind from the southeast, and snow.
The route has been programmed into the GPS, but a sim bug prevents the magenta line from appearing. Sorry about this, but the bright side is that the autopilot still follows it and the gauges aside from the GPS still show correct indications.
Communications
During this flight your copilot will handle radio communications, but you'll handle all aircraft systems. Your callsign is "King Air 46PC."
Installation
Simply extract the zip archive to your MSFS Community Folder. If you do this correctly, the bush trip should appear in the simulator's Activities menu under community-made activities.

This version of Yakutat Mail Run was made by Synoxys787.
The idea for the mission, along with the story, script, and voiceover comes from Microsoft Flight Simulator X. Thank you to the great people who created the original mission for making a memorable experience!
Special thanks to BuffyGC for his work on BushTripInjector, which is what I used to create this bush trip.
Well, my friend, the Black Square King Air is out.....you know what to do 😉 !

Pro-tip: There is a tool called MissionChanger by BuffyGC that can be used to switch the aircraft used in any mission, among other things. So you can actually experience it right now! https://flightsim.to/file/28469/missionchanger

Hello Synoxys,
that was once again a masterstroke to create such a flight. After I landed I really needed a beer **sweat**. That was a real challenge.
What I had problems with was the NDB. I did not find an NDB "Ocean Cape" on 385 KHz. The closest thing was CYT on 209 KHz. Did something change there in the simulator?

When I was developing the mission it was working properly. I'm not really sure what could have gone wrong there. The King Air's panel is less than ideal so it may be simply an issue with the avionics. There's already a dumb bug where the magenta line doesn't show up in bush trips, wouldn't surprise me if there was something else.

I'm not a fan of this quest, but I like your idea, I hope you collect them all. and I loved the task on the oil platform, rescue in the mountains or was it a volcano, I forgot, delivering cargo somewhere high in the mountains (I remember plopping there more than once), flying on a DC-3 simply because it’s a legend, it seems that’s all I remember ))

Thanks for the comment! Ideally I’ll get around to making all of the good ones, but some missions have some features that don’t exist in the sim currently. One example that covers many of the missing features is Tokyo Executive Transport. That has aircraft switching, AI aircraft, dialog choices, and a giant fictional island with a secret runway that I would either need to rip from FSX somehow or model from scratch.
I would make that mission in a heartbeat if it was possible. Anyway, hope you stick around for future releases!
