Working with the LittleNavMap developer Alexander Barthel I helped to develop these additional Userpoint Icons for use in LNM. You can find LNM at:
https://albar965.github.io/
These will allow you to categorize and mark a wide variety of POIs (points-of-interest) found in the MSFS scenery. Some icons have more than one version to provide a choice. To better view the icons drop them into an empty folder of your choice and open the folder. Be sure to select either 'Large Icons' or Extra Large Icons' for your view setting (found in the toolbar along the top of the explorer window). The icons were initially developed to mark items easily found in LNM when flying VFR at low altitude but it was found more icons were required to mark other items found in MSFS scenery addons such as available here at Flightsim.to.
This zip file is also available exclusively at the developers website here:

Instructions for loading the additional icons:
To install the icons in LNM click on 'Tools' then 'Files and Directories' then 'Show Database Files'. When the window opens you should be in the 'little_navmap_db' folder. Now go up one level (folder) to the 'ABarthel' folder. Dump all the icons into this folder (or just the ones you need) and restart LNM. After restarting LNM if icons don't show up in the moving map click on the 'Star' on the toolbar (to open the Icons dropdown) and select 'All' to ensure all icons are turned on to allow them to properly display on the moving map.
Additional information about loading and customizing the Userpoint icons can be found in the Online Manual for LNM here:

If you categorize a large collection of POIs be sure to share them by exporting 'unique' groups. Maybe group the icons by things you have specific knowledge of in your local area such as golf courses, cemeteries, stadiums, race tracks…you get the idea. Others can then merge (import) these exported POIs and build a substantial collection of POIs for use in LNM. Be extremely careful because POIs are easily duplicated when importing files. Always make a backup of your primary Userpoints data file before importing new files.
If you share this zip please distribute it intact with the README and VERSION log files.

Thanks for the comments.
For those that wish to create their own icons be aware all the icons in this zip are sized 64x64 pixels. These provide adequate resolution for use in LNM and give the icon a small footprint (size). You can use an app to create icons 256x256 pixels for better accuracy/detail when creating your image but use a conversion app to bring it back to 64x64. You’ll not notice any real difference in the icon as used in LNM and keep the file size small as possible.

This is a nice collection of icons and opened my eyes to the possibilities for creating new icons and userpoint categories in LNM. I had a great time sorting the imported World Update POIs available elsewhere on this site into appropriate categories (they all come in as "buildings" no matter what they really are). You can choose which of these icons you want, and create your own icons/categories once you see how this author has done it. Makes LNM much more useful as a VFR sightseeing tool.
