Hi everyone! This challenge is for the landing strip 85U, a small backcountry airstrip in Idaho. This is a challenging landing due to high terrain and location.

Recommended Scenery:
I used an amazing scenery pack from this platform, available at https://flightsim.to/file/1156/bush-strips-in-idaho. I have not tested without the scenery pack but would imagine it improves your experience immensely. This pack has about a dozen airfields in the area.
Note: I am not affiliated with the developer in any way.
Mission:
You will start in a valley headed towards Taylor Ranch. For the most exciting experience, you can dive down to follow the river to the airfield. You will need to stay slow so you are ready when you pop out just above the touchdown zone! Make sure to hit "Go Fly" as soon as it appears because there is no margin for delay - the challenge will say you crashed because you load in just a few seconds before you would hit terrain. This is a very short airfield and you need to land on the designated point or you will run out of runway (sim will say you did not land on designated runway). Good luck!
Installation Instructions:
Installation is simple. Please move 09id-landing-challenge into your Community folder for MSFS. You can find it in game under Activities > Landing Challenges > Epic > Taylor Ranch River Bush Landing.
Known Bugs/Issues:
- I would recommend hitting the "Go Fly" button as soon as you are loaded. Due to the extreme terrain and the fact that while you enjoy the preview screens, the aircraft is actually moving, you may crash into terrain by waiting for the showcase camera shots. If that happens, restart and be quicker to hit "Go Fly!"
Additional Notes:
I will do my best to maintain a leaderboard for each of my landing challenges! All you have to do is upload a screenshot from your flight and the score screen in the comments and I will place you according by your score.
Thank you for trying out my second landing challenge! Any feedback or comments would be appreciated. Don't forget to leave a rating, or request help if not satisfied!
